These days, everyone is busier than ever, many things compete for our time, focus and energy. We often divide our efforts among family, work and school. It is pressurizing to accomplish more tasks in a limited time. Besides, our technological devices often cause us to spend more time on things that do not provide long-term beneficial value.
As such, mindful meditation is helpful. Mindful meditation is the awareness that arises through paying attention on purpose in the present moment non-judgementally. It entails focusing single-mindedly on a specific thing or focal point.
A great companion to have during meditation.
1. Singing Bowl
Also known as “standing bells”, with a nature similar to that of a bell. Typically crafted from copper or tin and is commonly used in meditation. The sound is produced with a mallet running around the rim. It is believed that singing bowl can be used as a focal point for meditation. The sound emitted possesses healing properties and is often referred to as sound bowl healing.
Place the singing bowl near your chakra or on top of a specific area of your body, and rely on the resonance of the bowl’s harmonic vibrations to create balance and encourage relaxation. Playing a singing bowl before meditating allows the brain to synchronize with the sound frequencies and helps to quiet the mind to allow for a deeper experience of meditation.

Buddha statues can be a helpful tool for meditation, particularly for those who follow Buddhist practices or teachings. Buddha statues help enhance the meditation experience with 1. Symbolic representation: For many Buddhists, the image of the Buddha represents the ideal of enlightenment and inner peace. Meditating in the presence of a Buddha statue can help to create a sense of connection. 2.
